The Conference was organized in cooperation with the National Technical University of Athens, in the framework of the celebrations for the 200th anniversary of the Greek Revolution of 1821.
80 architects and urban planners, historians, university professors as well as undergraduate and postgraduate students participated.
Thematic axes: (1) urban planning of the independent Greek state (2) excavations of architects that led to the rebirth of antiquity (3) architecture as an expression of Greek rebirth, (4) training in the art and science of architecture
