Professor of International Relations, Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences.
Andreas Gofas is Professor of International Relations at Panteion University of Athens, and Director of the European Cultural Centre of Delphi. He is the academic representative of Greece at the High Council of the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence and the co-director of the Olympia Summer Academy.
Professor Gofas held the presidency at the High Council of the EUI and research positions at institutions such as NYU School of Law, where he was a Fulbright Visiting Scholar and Emile Noël Senior Fellow. His scholarly journey also includes being a Jean Monnet Fellow at the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies, EUI; a Marie Curie Fellow at the University of Sheffield; and a Visiting Scholar at Yale University, amongst others.
His books include The SAGE Handbook of the History, Philosophy and Sociology of International Relations, The Oxford Handbook of Terrorism, and The Role of Ideas in Political Analysis.
