With the donation of 25 photographs by the internationally renowned photographer Robert McCabe, the collection of the European Cultural Delphi Centre (ECDC) has recently been enriched.
The Centre warmly thanks him for this generous contribution.
McCabe’s photographs narrate Greece’s post-war history as he recorded it during his travels throughout the 1950s and 1960s, capturing his deep and lived connection with the country. Through a subtle, human-centred gaze, his work stands as a vivid testimony of memory and hope, where people, light, and the Greek landscape are interwoven into a narrative of continuity and renewal.
His work has been presented in numerous exhibitions across Greece, including the exhibition “Greece After the War. The Years of Hope”, hosted at the European Cultural Delphi Centre in June 2023.
