The international symposium “Marathon: The day after” took place in Delphi from 2 to 4 July 2010 and was organized as part of the tribute “Marathon, 2500 years (490 BC–2010 A.D.)”
Scientific supervision: Kostas Bourazelis, Michalis Kopidakis and Giorgos Kontogiorgis.
Twenty distinguished academics, university professors and researchers, philologists, historians, and political scientists from various European countries took part.
The work of the symposium was attended, inter alia, by 55 undergraduate and postgraduate students of Greek universities (the National Kapodistrian University of Athens, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, University of Ioannina, University of Crete, Panteion University) and postgraduate students from the Universities of Oxford Edinburgh, Michigan, Durham, Yale, and Princeton.
