The international symposium The University in Europe: From Plato’s Academy to the Charter of Bologna, was held in Delphi between 6 and 8 July 2012 on the occasion of the 2,400th anniversary of the founding of Plato’s Academy (388/387 BC), with the participation of 17 speakers from Greece and other European countries (Spain, United Kingdom, Sweden, Austria, France, Italy).
