Just two-minute walk from the Conference Centre, the open-air Theatre “Frynihos” has a capacity of 1.050 persons on two split levels.

A rather elegant construction, resembling ancient Greek theatres, lined with local stone. Blessed with a stunning view to the bay of Itea, the theatre offers very good acoustics and excellent infrastructure for the installation of sound and lighting equipment. It also features dressing rooms equipped with bathrooms and WC for the public.

Apart from theatre performances and other artistic events, the Open-Air Theatre can host the official opening ceremonies of Conferences and Symposia during the summer period.

Stage (behind the Orchestra): 46,70m. Χ 8,20 m.

On the ground level of the theatre, there is a multipurpose hall of 218 sq.m. It can be used for exhibitions, dance, music, and theatre workshops. It can also be converted into a conference room with capacity of 300 seats or two conference rooms with capacity of 120 and 100 seats respectively.

The open-air Theatre of Delphi was built by the Ministry of Culture / Directorate of Restoration of Modern and Contemporary Monuments. It was co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund of the European Union with 75% and by the Greek State with 25%.
